*Girl Talk*

Hey girls!  My name is Ashley and I am a new member of the Elevate staff.  I am so excited about all that God is doing here and feel blessed to be a part of it all!

I moved around growing up but always ended up back in Texas.  I went to high school in Arlington, TX and then attended Baylor University.  My college years were full of projects for Interior Design and hanging out with girls in the youth group at my church.  I love all things creative and I love spending time with students.  God has stirred my heart for youth and I believe that there are bigger things than you could ever imagine that God has in store for you!  You don’t have to wait until you’re older; God has significant things planned for your life right now!

I want this to be a place for us to share our thoughts – things God is teaching us, challenges we are facing and how we can seek God in the midst of the circumstances of life.

JOY – THE 4:8 PRINCIPLE

As people we tend to search for Joy in all of the wrong places. Is it possible that God has placed true Joy in the most obvious place possible, inside us. Over the next three weeks we will take a look at what the Bible has to say about our thought life and the Joy we can access.
