Are you ready to travel to the Central American country Guatemala? We will be joining Our Savior’s Church youth ministry to reach these amazing people for Christ. There will be many opportunities to serve.

James 1:27 says, “Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress…”

One of the ways we will serve on our trip is to help build a home for a widow. This will be a great way to show God’s love to this woman who has lost the most important person in her life.

We also have the opportunity to touch many children’s lives. We will be doing this through visiting an orphanage, holding school assemblies, and distributing wheelchairs to special need’s kids. God is going to change these children’s lives as we practically serve and love them.

This is a trip that you don’t want to miss! By going on this trip you will accomplish two great things. You will see people come to the Lord, impacting their lives for eternity and your own life will be changed and you’ll never be the same! So let’s go, serve, and touch the nation of Guatemala together!

Prayer Points

  • Pray for the people we will serve, that they will know God’s love.
  • Pray for the opportunity to share the gospel.
  • Pray that the dramas will open up the hearts of the children who will see them.
  • Pray for the widow’s house that we will be building will be build smoothly and that she will feel the love of God through us building it.
  • Pray for the financial resources for your trip.
  • Pray to gain a closer relationship with God through the trip and the process of getting prepared for the trip.
