ELEVATE TEAMS

How do I get involved?
Here at Elevate we want to see students align their lives with the mission of God and so we make getting involved with a team as simple as possible. If a student wants to serve on a team all they have to do is talk to one of the staff members at Elevate and we will introduce them to the team leader of the team that the student wants to serve with.

Why do I want to be on a team?
Have you ever been in a sport, played an instrument, or anything else in which you practiced hard and often, just to find out that you didn’t make the starting spot? It is not fun being on the bench, and here at Elevate we believe for students to really be fulfilled with their Christian lives they have to be in the game. By students serving on a team, it gives them the chance to be in the game and not on the bench. We want Elevate to be a student led ministry. Thus we try to give students as many opportunities as possible to be involved.

Why are teams important?
Teams are vital to what we are creating here at Elevate.  We provide and create the atmosphere and culture that has made us a successful ministry. Elevate is not about one person reaching people and building lives but all of us; adult leaders and students alike.

Act Up Team
This team uses its creative and dramatic abilities to provide dramas, monologues, skits, and service enhancers to the Wednesday night service at Elevate.

Admin Team
The Admin team works to produce printed material and assist with planning and execution of big events.  This includes regular items such as calendar and flyers, sign up sheets, etc.

Amps Team
The Amps team organizes and performs the production of all elevate services and events.  This includes, but is not limited to, sound, lights, video and all forms of media.  They are crucial in enabling Elevates Wednesday night service to be exciting and relevant to students.

Cafe Team
This team serves Elevate by providing food and beverages to students and leaders on Wednesday nights.

Check In Team
This team is responsible for collecting all new students information and for all students to be properly checked in.

Children’s Ministry Team
This team servers in the Children’s Ministry. Students have the chance to impact and serve Milestone Church’s children. Our Children’s Ministry has many areas that students can get involved and serve children from infants to 6th graders.

Connection Team
This team is focused on greeting new students and families with the intention of connecting them to Elevate. New students and families are extremely important to us and so we have a team designated to connecting with them.

Greeter Team
This team is responsible for creating a fun and welcoming environment for everyone at Elevate.  Relationally they work to create a fun, friendly, and inviting atmosphere wherever they are assigned  Wednesday nights.  Greeters also work to thank students for coming through exit greeting as well.

Follow Up Team
The Follow Up team helps us follow up with first time student that comes through or doors. They help us make phone calls and connect with the first time guests after each service.

Prep Team
This team prepares the auditorium for each service by ensuring that the youth auditorium and connect cafe are set up prior to the beginning of service and carrying out the tear-down on Wednesday nights leaving the building in excellent condition.  This team is vital to preparing the atmosphere at Elevate.

Saturday Check in Team
This team is responsible for collecting all new students information and for all students to be properly checked in during our Lift class on Saturday nights.

Sunday Amps Team
The Amps team organizes and performs the production of the Sunday Morning Lift services.  This includes, but is not limited to, sound, lights, video and all forms of media.  They are crucial in enabling Lift services to be exciting and relevant to students.

Sunday Check In Team
This team is responsible for collecting all new students information and for all students to be properly checked in during our Lift class on Sunday mornings.

Usher Team
This team helps set the overall tone by welcoming students to elevate, maximizing seating, collecting the offering, assisting with seating, and distributing sermon notes and pens.  This team is vital in establishing a safe, welcoming, organized atmosphere in Elevate.

Worship Team
This team helps lead students into the presence of God through vocals and instruments on Wednesday nights in service and other Elevate events, camps, and retreats.
